Chocolates so Beautiful – Chocolatier Blue
My daughter was born with an inherent love of chocolate – even I am not as big a fan as she is. The fancier and darker the chocolate, the more she wants it. We recently discovered Chocolatier Blue in Berkeley and were blown away not just by the yumminess of the chocolate but also by the sheer beauty of these delightful little pieces. This chocolate just might be too beautiful to eat (yeah, right! Watch us eat them beauties).
According to their website : Chocolatier Blue features gourmet chocolates made with nothing but the finest and freshest ingredients. Their chocolates start with single-origin chocolate. Chris Blue is the only confectioner in the United States to be allowed to use Amedei chocolate. Amedei is world-renowned for using the best cocoa beans in the world to make the best chocolate in the world. The raspberries, peaches, lemons, and many other fruits used in Chocolatier Blue’s collections come directly from the local farmer’s markets in Berkeley. All the seasonal fresh fruits contribute to the amazing flavors of each filling.
Some of their latest flavors include cherry cobbler, raspberry parfait, peach cobbler, peanut butter with grape jam (SO GOOD!), smores, banana split (I was skeptical but it was amazing!), smores, blueberry cobbler and a bunch more. Below is a photo from their website of the latest collection. You can stick around for a while like we did and watch Chris lovingly make each hand-crafted spectacular piece of chocolate. Art and food all in one place. Stacie will love this one!

Those chocolates are so cute! I love how they look like little paintings.
Simran — you are right — this is spectacular. Get me to Berkeley now! Can’t decide if I want to eat these or paint them!
YUM!!! I am new to the area and hope to visit Berkeley soon!
I am not a big fan of chocolate but I have the feeling I would love all of these types of chocolate! Now I know where I’m heading tomorrow after work. I’ll try to taste other flavors too and let you know what I think about it!
Do tell us how it goes and which ones you like! Very unique chocolates!
Yummm, they look adorable, I could totally spend the afternoon popping some in my mouth. LOL
I am really big chocoholic. Those pictures are amazing. I better go to their website and hope they ship around USA.
