I watched in awe as my friend Ann, made these cookies while we were just standing around. I always think of making cookies is a “massive undertaking” with the dirtying of too many dishes and cooking tools. These cookies come together in a jiffy and are a fun, yummy and easy recipe to make with the kids. Great eaten warm with some ice-cream! If I can make them, anyone can make them. 🙂
Aunty Ann’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
makes 3-4 dozen
Mix in a bowl
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 – 2 tsp vanilla
Incorporate in 4-5 batches:
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- pinch of salt (optional)
Mix in
- 1 cup (or more) chocolate chips
You can add nuts, oats or anything else you like at this point.
Drop by tablespoonful onto baking sheet (ungreased) and bake in oven set to 375F for 8-10 minutes.
My husband would be sooo happy if I made these for him. They look delicious!

Hi
I keep searching net for recipes . this one really looks yummy
I am going to make it today.
my mom is allowing me to cook these for summer camp cooking class and i am 9 years old i hope they are tasty! 🙂
Tried this recipe. The cookies spread a lot and got thin at the edges, probably because the butter has been melted and the dough is very very wet. They still tasted alright and are fine if you don’t want the work of creaming the butter and sugar, etc. But do the extra work if you’ve got the time.
came out great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like super quick and im super please!
These were delicious! I used semisweet and a handful of white chocolate chips. I also accidentally made the first batch really big, but no worries! They were just extra gooey. Thanks!

I made these with my 4 year old niece today. I usually try and stick to healthy recipes, but I was looking for something kid friendly. I did a google search for easy chocolate chip cookies to make with kids and your page popped up. Seriously delicious cookies! A little too delicious, but they were a hit and that’s all that matters. Thanks for sharing the awesome recipe!
That’s great! Totally agree… healthy cooking is so important, but sometimes you just need chocolate chip cookies. Thanks for visiting our blog!
