There are many reasons to like Good Eggs, and here are 2:

  1. They have a fantastic selection of grocery items and speciality foods to please any foodie, all delivered right to your door in the Bay Area — the good stuff like Tartine bread, Straus yogurt, Bel Fiore burrata, peak season fruits and veggies….. How awesome is this for busy weeks and last minute dinner parties?
  2. Good Eggs supports local Bay Area food makers and entrepreneurs — and that includes us! They jumped in as a grocery sponsor for our recent A Little Kindness benefit dinners, supplying amazing ingredients so that our young, A Little Yumminess chefs could cook and raise more than $41,000 for organizations doing important work in the community.

Check them out & use that $20 to treat yourself to some beautiful strawberries or perhaps a loaf of our favorite Josey Baker bread!

We ♥ Good Eggs

Some time ago, we discovered a wonderful new local business called Good Eggs, which allows you to order groceries and goodies directly from local farmers and food makers.  Good Eggs aggregates, packs sand delivers your goods to your door, or you can pick them up free at lots of convenient locations around the Bay Area.  They are also expanding to Brooklyn!

After you place your order on the Good Eggs website, your goods are picked and prepped to order and you are guaranteed the freshest and tastiest treats.  Plus, it is great way to support local food growers and producers.  The little one and I enjoyed browsing the site and deciding what we wanted to try.  They have items ranging from fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, pasture raised eggs, artisanal baked breads, yummy baked goodies etc.etc.  You can spend a good amount of time on their website drooling and planning meals.  We shared a pie from Three Babes Bakeshop (they were on my must-try list for a long time!) with a neighbor.

Here’s what we ordered for our first “adventure” and I am sure we will be back for more quite regularly.

Organic Greens of the Week from Bloomfield Farms

Apriums from Blossom Bluff Orchards

Pastured Chicken Eggs from Happy Hens Farm

Bread of the Week from Josey Baker Bread

Green Magic Curry Paste from Magic Curry Cart

Apple-Rhubarb Pie from Three Babes Bakeshop

Here’s a complete list of their current food producers.  Can’t wait to try more of them!

Happy ordering and eating!!
